Book Publisher Looking For Traditional Quilts

Book Publisher Looking For Traditional Quilts

By Janelle Cahoon, Quiltcentric

Do you make traditional quilts?  Want to have one featured in a book?

Lark Books, a publisher of craft books, is looking for photos of “masterful traditional quilts” to publish in an upcoming book to be titled Showcase 500 Traditional Quilts.

Karey Bresenhan, president of Quilts, Inc., the company that produces the annual International Quilt Festival in Houston, will be the one to choose which quilts will be included in the book.  I’m guessing it takes a lot to impress her!

Quilters are allowed to submit up to 5 entries.  If your quilt is selected for publication you’ll receive credit in the book, a complimentary copy, and a discount if you want to buy any additional copies.

Deadline for entry is February 28, 2013.

For more information and an entry form, go to the Lark Books website.
