San José Quilt Museum Meets Fundraising Goal

By Janelle Cahoon, Quiltcentric

Good news!  The San José Museum of Quilts and Textiles has announced that they have met and surpassed their immediate crisis-funding need of $80,000 and will not need to close their doors.

In a letter, Christine Jeffers, Executive Director of the museum, says that as of April 1st the museum has raised $125,000, and that membership has grown from 575 to 658. The museum is now going to work on decreasing budgets to better balance spending with income.
